二十有九，仍感謝妳那年不知哪來的勇氣，獨個跑到言語不通的小鎮，把部份的自己種在山丘裏，並長出根來，讓妳在異國有個可以回去的家。四日三夜說是旅行卻更像修行，當時所有的徬徨不安現在都成了一種鄉愁。
前幾天讀到這句:「我見青山多嫵媚，料青山見我應如是。」 致那年二十二歲的自己。
“I have become 29. I still appreciate your traceless courage, to have run into an out-of-language mountain town and grown a part of yourself into the hills with scattered roots, so you could have a place to return to when you’re out in the foreign landscape. The 4-day journey was like a pursuit and practice, all of the restlessness and perplexity has now become a form of longing and homesickness. I was reading a line a couple of days back, “I see the enchantment of the green hills and the hills see the same in me”. 
Regards sent to my 22-year-old self.


Artist Bio

生於香港，時居九龍，時居德國科隆。大學時主修傳意設計，多揉合自身對影像的喜愛進行創作。作品概念大多由日常觀察所得，並以創作過程作為其消化或抒解的方式。作品涉及錄像、攝影、印刷與文字創作等。現為自由工作者，於創作途上，繼續面朝未知之處，邊走邊學。


Heiwa Wong is from Hong Kong and works as a freelance artist in Hong Kong and Cologne (Germany). Majoring in communication design at the university, she often incorporates her keen interest in images into her creative practices. Her works can be seen as ways of assimilating and giving form to her daily observations. She works with a range of media including photography, moving images, prints and writings. Paving her creative journey, she takes one step after another, small yet steady.

Chapter One “Dive in Ocean Float in Space”

來自於我對水族館的迷戀。

那看似無意識的沈潛浮游，

彷彿某種未知語言；

揭示了生命運行的奧秘規律，

世界另一端的再次循環，

倒映著不同於人卻相似的生命體。

Originating from artist’s fascination with aquariums. The seemingly unconscious dive and float, like some incomprehensible language that reveals the life cycle's mysterious laws. The repetition of the other end of the world reflects the different yet similar life forms to humans.


Artist Bio

香港攝影師，現定居台灣。作品以影像為主，探索環境與自身的改變，喜歡安靜地捕捉發光的顆粒，簡約、舒服地蒐集存在的痕跡。A Hong Kong photographer who is currently based in Taiwan.Delicately captures the luminescent particles, exploring the symbiotic relationship between inner self and the environment around. Curating the traces of existence in an understated, yet comforting manner.

在城與城之間，我們迷路或是駐足；失眠或是做夢。我們捕捉日常裡的光怪陸離，一些被扭曲的光影。抬頭，城裡的星星仍亮著，喃喃說著：「回家小心」

Between cities, we get lost or we settle; we get sleepless or we make dreams. Being surrounded by the grotesque and variegated cityscape, we look up — the stars are still shining.“Get home safe.” they say.

「馬照跑，舞照跳，如常呼吸，一切正常。」

這是一系列在疫情期間拍攝的香港街拍照片，從一些「正常」生活中的人事物之中發現不尋常的畫面。
你可以看到將臉全包裹着的人在曬太陽，有戴著銀色反光眼罩的叔叔如遊戲中的戰士，也有穿着蜘蛛俠套裝的小孩和巨型恐龍模型。
疑假似真，人生就如夢一場，
也許我們都是清醒地做夢。"Like horses running, dances flowing, as regular as breathing, everything is normal."

This is a series of street photos taken during the pandemic in Hong Kong, capturing unusual scenes from everyday life. You can see people with their faces completely covered soaking up the sun, uncles wearing silver reflective eye masks like warriors in a game, children in Spider-Man costumes, and giant dinosaur models.
Suspiciously real, life is like a dream, perhaps we are all dreaming while awake.

Annotation (movement) presents a diaristic collection of materials that artist Elaine Wong developed throughout her exploration journey. It includes text, sketches, personal notes, research materials, project statements, conversations…, alongside digital images created by the artist.

黃關注藝術帶動的感知和經驗，其作品探索生活及內在狀態的多種層面與複雜體驗；主要創作媒介包括錄像丶聲音和裝置等。


Elaine Wong works with videography, sound and installations. She is interested in the experiential quality of works. Her practice explores and unveils the manifolds of daily encounters and inner conditions.

過去的千禧年，是一段讓人難以忘懷的時光。那個時代的我們，彷彿都沉浸在一種迷幻的氛圍當中，留下了無數珍貴的回憶。而現在，我想把那些回憶封存在一個攝影集裡，讓它們永遠留在我的心中。我選擇使用酷卡裝幀的方式，是因為這樣的裝幀方式，讓我想起了小時候收集的珍貴卡通和藝人冊。這些收藏，成為了我們成長路上的陪伴，也凝聚了我們對這個世界的認知和理解。
攝影及內容收藏創作者在台灣和香港的兩邊生長混肴共生的記憶體，個人的國家認同以及各種生長軌跡，都將在這個攝影集中得到展現。這樣的收藏，不僅僅是我個人的回憶，更是一段時代的印記。
Seal the memories of the past millennium in a photo collection, using a cool card format, reminiscent of the cherished cartoon or celebrity collections we collected as children. The collection captures the memories of the creators who grew up on both sides of Taiwan and Hong Kong, the embodiment of personal national identity and growth trajectory. These collections are not just my personal memories, but a part of the era.


Artist Bio

港裔台北人，畢業於紐約藝術學院Pratt，創作風格偏好實驗性手工裝幀及具有諷刺性連結與幽默的視覺攝影表達。曾在台灣參加過Zine相關的書展活動，並透過這些活動分享我的作品與觀點，熱衷探索藝術與生活之間的連結，並希望能透過自己的作品傳達出一些獨特的思考與體驗。


Based in Taipei,&#38;nbsp; graduated from Pratt Institute in New York. My creative style favors experimental handcrafted bookbinding and visually expressive photography with satire and some hilarious. I have participated in various zine-related book fair events in Taiwan, where I have shared my works and perspectives. I am passionate about exploring the connection between art and life, and I hope to convey some unique thoughts and experiences through my work.

這些照片中，人們成了媒體的奴隸，不斷地受到媒體的洗腦和控制。被追蹤數和手機屏幕所支配，完全失去了個性和自主性。而那些為了名利而不斷曝光自己的名人，更是被媒體扭曲成了一個個虛假的形象，完全失去了真正的自我。
In these photos, people are depicted as slaves to the media, constantly brainwashed and controlled by it. They are dominated by their followers and smartphone screens, losing all personality and agency. Furthermore, those celebrities who expose themselves for fame and fortune are twisted by the media into false images, completely losing their true selves.

The Dust of World（塵界）是一系列街頭攝影作品，我旨在捕捉我感官和意識相交的瞬間。當我走近一個場景時，我沉思著可能在我之前發生的事件，試圖理解萬物的無常。正是通過這個過程，我感受到了失落感和時間的瞬息即逝。然而，儘管有這種瞬息即逝的感覺，我感覺我有能力在按下快門的時候捕捉時間的片刻。 
The Dust of World&#38;nbsp;系列中的每一張照片都包含了一個瞬間的本質，永遠地保存了它。通過這些照片，我希望傳達無常的美麗和捕捉時間的奇妙。
The Dust of World is a series of street photographs where I aim to capture the fleeting moments when my senses and consciousness intersect.

As I approach a scene, I contemplate the events that may have unfolded before me, seeking to understand the impermanence of all things. It is through this process that I sense a feeling of loss and the transience of time.&#38;nbsp; Yet, despite this sense of transience, I feel as though I have the power to capture a moment in time when I press the shutter. Each photograph in "The Dust of World" series encapsulates the essence of a single moment, preserving it for eternity. Through these photographs, I hope to convey the beauty of transience and the wonder of capturing a moment in time.


Artist Bio

潘思翰，台灣台北人，是佛陀商店的主理人之一，攝影藝術家本業是一位網站設計師，但他的熱情卻在於街頭攝影，他喜歡捕捉那些消逝感極強的視覺影像。他的作品表現出對生命短暫和無常的深刻體悟，透過攝影來探索這種感受，並將這些感受傳達給觀者。

Based in Taipei, one of the organizers of photoshopping.tw. This photography artist is a web designer by profession, but his passion lies in street photography where he likes to capture visually stunning moments that are fleeting and transient. His work reflects a deep understanding of the brevity and impermanence of life, using photography to explore these feelings and convey them to the audience.
